I first got a taste of programming at a young age with a
Commodore 64, and soon began branching into
Microsoft's BASIC, Visual Basic, and C++ in high school. I immediately fell in love with Computer Science,
Software Development, and Information Technology. I started my professional IT career as a co-op programmer
with the
ABAP development team for
Colgate-Palmolive doing
SAP/R3 development. Once the Jeffersonville Indiana
Colgate location was closed, I left for another internship at
UPS as a Co-Op Programmer Analyst. My experience at
UPS as a Co-Op was where I really go a taste for End-User software development and is where I wrote the Tooling
Inventory Control System based on a Micro-Focus COBOL application which ran off ISAM files. The TICS 2 application
I wrote and designed was the first .Net application I wrote professionally. I now work for
Prosoft, LLC, a .Net
consulting company in the Louisville Metro area. My “expertise” is C# web & windows development, however I have
experience with VB.Net, VB 6, C++, Java and a whole bunch of other stuff you can read on my resume.
I have been toying with the thought of starting up my own website for years and just never got around to it
until now… So here you go. I now have a place to try new ideas and new Microsoft technologies out for fun
(outside of work). Enjoy the site, the photo gallery, and my blog.
